Futura

Futura is an Italian artist based here in East London. She began her apprenticeship in 2018 where she honed her illustration skills in the medium of tattooing and became licensed in 2022. Futura is inspired by the belief that tattoos are a powerful means of self-experession, as she believes, tattooing itself is a dynamic medium in which you can produce true works of art on the skin. Her style is influenced by the Art Nouveau movement and its portrayal of women in symbolic roles that represent both good and evil. She also recently started to play around with adding geometric shapes on the fabric of the womens dresses, to add both dimensions and deeper meanings. When Futura is not tattooing she enjoys yoga and being in nature.
